The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) created this course as a resource for osteopathic medical students, residents and other DOs and members of the healthcare community in a time of national and global public health crisis.
This is a self-guided educational assessment program on OMT for Patients with Respiratory Infections. The course has three main sections:
- OMT for Patients with Respiratory Infections: The Hands-On Treatment
- History of OMT for Patients with Respiratory Infections
- Research of OMT for Patients with Respiratory Infections
You can complete the individual sections in any order, or just review the section of your choice. A certificate of completion will be available for those completing all 3 sections and the self-assessment.
However, if you are just interested in a refresher on OMT hands-on modalities, the first section, OMT for Patients with Respiratory Infections: Hands-on Treatment, can be completed on its own as a quick review of the step-by-step aspects of the treatment
